I don't want to bomb you with oodles of photos, but I'll share a few from our favorite places on the trip: Salzburg, Southern Bavaria and Switzerland. Generally anywhere with mountains, cute architecture and hearty food. These are the places we'll revisit when we're 70 and can finally travel again.

Following a massive trip it seems like this post should be longer, but I'm still processing it all. I can say though, I was overtaken by complete awe at how beautiful this earth is and how sweet the people on it are. God really is magnificent and I wanted to belt it from the mountain tops. It was also a great time to reflect on this past year's adventures and how blessed I am.
Now for mastering the art of savoring our remaining time here while also prepping for our return home.

So should I talk about how jealous I am or how happy I am that you got to experience all that you did? :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my blog today. I nominated you for one of those bloggy awards. I just wanted to share with you how much I enjoy your blog. Don't feel obligated to take part, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, so no biggy!
Thanks so much!
DeleteWow, the photo of the mountains and the fog looks unreal! So glad you had a great trip!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you were only going to be in London for a short time. What were you there for and where is your "home" town? Looking forward to lots more pictures from your travels
ReplyDeleteYep, only a year here in London for Kurt's MA. My hometown is Tallahassee, FL, Kurt is from the Chicago area. We have yet to make a home for ourselves back in the US because we moved so quickly after marrying. It looking like we'll be in Chicago initially when we get back. :-)
DeleteOoh! Chicago. I would love to make a trip out there. What did Kurt get his Master's in?
